The Office of the
 Court Administrator

Division 19

Division 19 does not conduct motion calendar. All motions are specially set. The Court has set aside every other Friday for its hearing docket. The Court may also establish telephone hearings Monday through Friday on short notice, to alleviate the necessity of counsel appearing in person.

All requests for a special set hearing shall be in writing. Counsel shall furnish the Court with a copy of the motion and an estimate of how much time will be required for the hearing. These may be sent via e-mail to Div19@17th.flcourts.org , providing the communication does not exceed five pages. All other pleadings and correspondence exceeding five pages are to be routed via the U.S. Postal Service, hand delivery, or overnight service to:

Honorable Jeffrey E. Streitfeld
Broward County Courthouse
201 SE 6th Street
Room 920A
Fort Lauderdale, FL 33301

A special calendar for Tobacco cases will be held the first Friday of every month at 1:30 p.m. in Courtroom 970. This calendar will consist of status/case management conferences and motions. Due to the possibility of potential rescheduling of this special calendar (i.e. holidays, annual leave, etc.) the Court will use every effort to notify counsel via a group e-mail and posted notification on the above referenced website.

The Court will publish on the Division 19 link on the above referenced website its current three month trial docket, its weekly trial status, a schedule of the upcoming trial periods and cases set (not in any particular order) including estimated length of trial, and orders and judgments that may be of general interest
