Prior Positions: Assistant State Attorney
Community Involvement: An active member of the Bench and Bar Committee, the Co-Chair of the Professionalism Committee, Pupilage Chair for the Inns of Court and a member of the Women Lawyer’s Association. She is actively involved in both community and charitable events. In addition to judging mock trial and literacy competitions, Judge Hilal speaks with youth at different schools on a regular basis in an effort to educate them on the legal system. Prior to becoming a Judge, Judge Hilal was a member of the Grievance Committee for the 17th Judicial Circuit.
