Clothing Closet Thrives with Donations

The Clothing Closet, created in 2013 and named in memory of Judge Susan J. Aramony, a strong advocate of children and families who passed away that same year, continues to thrive in the central courthouse. The donation-only “boutique” offers families and youth involved in the court system an opportunity to supplement their wardrobe with clothing appropriate for job interviews, community service, and special occasions.

The gently used (and sometimes new) items cover everything from children’s clothes and shoes to men’s and women’s work attire and formal wear. Referrals to shop the Clothing Closet are made by court and community-based professionals and coordinated through Court Administration.
