Bailiff Roger DeHart Will Walk Again for Human Trafficking Awareness
Last year, Court Bailiff Roger DeHart walked from the Broward Courthouse to Washington, D.C. and this year he’ll walk from the Golden Gate bridge in San Francisco to University of California, San Diego, with the purpose of raising awareness of human trafficking. Roger started his non-profit charity, First S.T.O.P (Saving Teens and Others from Predators) to help bring more awareness to the world-wide problem of human trafficking, and planning and executing the hundreds of miles “No More Miles” walks is how he’s doing it. His California walk begins in August of this year but he will be hosting a “No More Miles Walk” Informational Session in June. The Investiture of the Honorable Corey Amanda Cawthon
On Friday, May 17, 2019, the Seventeenth Circuit celebrated the investiture of Judge Corey Amanda Cawthon, county court judge serving in both the civil and criminal divisions on the bench in the South Satellite courthouse in Hollywood. She was sworn in by Chief Judge Jack Tuter, and robed by her parents.
