Showering Love, a mobile shower service that provides showers and other services to the homeless, unveiled its second mobile bus today with a ribbon cutting ceremony held just before Community Court began at Fort Lauderdale’s City Hall. The new bus includes a laundry facility onboard and will be parked out front every Wednesday morning when Community Court is in session.
Judge Florence Barner presides over the Community Court docket and was one of the ribbon cutters along with Commissioner Ben Sorensen, Vice Mayor Lamar Fisher, and the founder of Showering Love, Jeanne Albaugh.
