On Friday, July 15, 2022, the Honorable Robert Diaz marked 30 years on the Broward County bench! He was appointed on July 15, 1992.

Judge Gottlieb and Judge DeLuca Recognized at Conference of County Court Judges
Congratulations to Judges Gottlieb and DeLuca who were honored at this week’s Conference of County Judges. Judge Gottlieb was sworn in as incoming President of the Conference of County Court Judges and Judge DeLuca received the Harvey Ford award, the highest recognition the conference bestows on one of their members.

Judge Solomon and Judge Robinson Recognized by Broward County Bar Association
Congratulations to Judge Mindy Solomon, this year’s recipient of the Stephen R. Booher Award, and Judge Michael Robinson, this year’s recipient of the Executive Director Award, presented this past weekend at the Broward County Bar Association’s annual installation reception!
The Stephen R. Booher Award recognizes jurists who display humanity, integrity, and dedication to the Bench, Bar, and Community. Judge Solomon has demonstrated all those traits, and more, during her 12-year tenure on the County Court bench.
The Executive Director Award is given to a judge or lawyer who has exemplified leadership and service to the Bar and the community. Judge Robinson has served as the judicial liaison for two years and has been an active leader for numerous law-related community projects during that time.
Criminal Prosecution and Defense Attorneys Speak to Circuit’s Summer Interns
This summer’s judicial interns were in for a treat today as Judge Diaz hosted two prominent attorneys in his courtroom for a meet-and-greet meeting. State attorney Chris Killoran and defense attorney Jeremy Kroll spoke to the second-year law students about their experiences in the legal profession and offered wise advice for success.
