Former Chief Judge Peter M. Weinstein was honored on Friday with a courtroom dedication and ribbon-cutting in recognition of his many years of service. Judge Weinstein served as judge 21 years for the 17th Judicial Circuit, with six of those years as Chief Judge. Sitting judges, retired judges, and local, state and national elected officials along with Judge Weinstein’s family packed the event to show their support and admiration for Judge Weinstein’s contributions to the Judiciary. Courtroom 14150 is now the Chief Judge Peter M. Weinstein Courtroom.Judge Weinstein also served 14 years as a Florida State Senator. Congratulations Judge Weinstein and thank you for your service.
