A Fond Farewell and an Interview with NBC

Chief Judge Jack Tuter recently sat down with NBC reporter Tony Pipitone to discuss his impending retirement, his lengthy career as a South Florida judge, the highs and lows of his career and what he plans to do when he leaves the bench. Judge Tuter announced on Feb. 12th that he would retire from the bench on May 1, 2025. His career as a judge began in 2005 when he was appointed to the bench by then Governor Jeb Bush. He was subsequently elected in 2008 and then re-elected in 2014 and 2020. Judge Tuter has served as Chief Judge for eight years. Gov.
