Judge Greene Flies Aid to Bahamas

Judge Greene lent a helping hand to the Hurricane Dorian relief effort this weekend when he flew more than 1,500 pounds of supplies in his personal airplane, to the Bahamas. As a member of Mercy Flight Southeast, Judge Greene regularly flies for humanitarian causes. This particular trip was arranged by Mercy Flight Southeast and coordinated with Bahamas Methodist Habitat, Crossroads Alliance, and Charlie-Mike Disaster Relief.

Bowties for a Cause

Last week, Judge Mindy Brown and Judge Ari Porth attended the second annual Tie the Knots event for Bowtie Kids, a non-profit organization devoted to children living with chronic pain. The event, hosted by the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce, is put on to raise money and awareness of the cause.

Judge Fahnestock and Judge Frink attended and completed the National Judicial College’s Faculty Development Workshop from August 19th to the 22nd, in Nevada. Founded in 1963, The National Judicial College is the nation’s leading provider of judicial education, and their mission is: Making the world a more just place by educating and inspiring its judiciary.
