“Family Pro Se Day” will Help Hundreds of Pro Se Litigants
The Seventeenth Judicial Circuit will host “Family Pro Se Day” on Thursday, November 30, from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in the new west tower of the central courthouse. With nearly 400 cases scheduled, the event is intended as a public service to pro se litigants by allowing them the opportunity to finalize dissolution of marriage cases and name change cases during non-traditional court business hours. Free parking is available to those on the Family Pro Se Day docket.
This is the fourth time the Seventeenth Circuit has hosted Family Pro Se Day. As always, it is a collaborative effort between the Chief Judge, Court Administration, Unified Family Court judges, the Clerk of the Court, Broward Sheriff’s Office and Broward County.
