NOTICE

The Seventeenth Judicial Circuit will begin limited face-to-face hearings on violations of probation in the circuit criminal division at the downtown Courthouse beginning March 15, 2021. All other divisions will continue to operate remotely on Zoom. The Clerk’s office will remain open at all courthouse locations. No courtroom activities will occur in the satellite courthouses.

The Circuit will be utilizing four courtrooms in the North Tower for violations of probation hearings, with the room numbers to be announced in the near future.

Be advised, to comply with social distancing, visitors to the courtrooms and courthouse may be limited. All persons will be required to social distance and wear a mask.

Change is coming January 1 for appeals of most county court decisions. They’ll now be heard in district courts. Many, however, will remain in circuit court. Follow this link to learn all about the changes: http://www.flcourts.org/Know-Your-Court
