General Counsel
The General Counsel serves as the legal advisor to the Chief Judge, Trial Court Administrator, and the judicial officers of the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit. The General Counsel is responsible for providing legal advice to the Seventeenth Circuit on both administrative and court-related matters. Additionally, the General Counsel drafts and updates the Circuit’s Administrative Orders, monitors legislation important to the Circuit, addresses public records requests to Court Administration and the judiciary, manages the Circuit’s Court Appointed Attorney Registry, and serves as the liaison between the Chief Judge and the Local Professionalism Panel.
